What is Subbuteo?
Subbuteo is a tabletop football game where players simulate the game of football by flicking miniature plastic players with their fingers in turns.
When was Subbuteo invented?
Subbuteo was invented by Peter Adolph (1916-1994) in the mid-1940s in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, England. It’s been a game over the years that has gone in and out of public interest, but seems to be having a little resurgence in the 2020s, which is exciting to see for any fans!
