I’m delighted to announce a partnership with football charity Head In The Game.

Back in May a friend of mine told me about Head In The Game (HITG) run by The Charitable Football Club. HITG is a new project started near where I live in East Kent, helping to tackle (literally!) the stigma of mens mental health, get blokes talking and providing a safe place to open up, share and be honest with one another about how they are feeling.

All based around football, each session starts with scoring how you feel, with the hope of that number (out of 10) being increased through a good fun and enjoyable session of training each week. The numbers are then explored again at the end of the session.

Mark from Head in The Game has been a supporter of mine for a few months and we didn’t realise until speaking recently but I’m delighted to partner with helping to promote the project and support it with raffle and giveaway prizes when events are on the agenda!

You can see more about Head in the Game here, and can watch an excellent piece by the BBC for a special report on South East News below.
