When Liverpool won the Premier League in 2020, it was the most bizarre premier league win yet – not because of on the field play, but because the majority of the season (which was interrupted significantly due to Covid19 pandemic) was played without fans and behind closed doors.

Liverpool had a 30-year wait for a league title and at last that came to an end after Manchester City lost 2-1 to Chelsea in London to confirm Liverpool as Premier League champions 2020.

Jurgen Klopp’s side needed one victory to seal the league but City’s failure to win means they couldn’t be caught by the 2nd place team and they became champions.

It was Liverpool’s 19th top-flight league title and their first since 1989-90

To celebrate I produced a custom illustration of some of the biggest names from the team that season, which went like hotcakes on the first run.
